Park Memorial is pleased to present this unique event focusing on grief expression through art projects and informal conversation. This intimate event will allow guests to participate in a facilitated craft activity, and then take part in an informal, facilitated grief discussion. This event is held in our Park Memorial reception centre, and we are grateful to have The Art of Cake providing their divine baked goods to our events once again.
This event is more than an art class; please honour the intention of this event to bring those who are grieving together for an evening of connecting through creativity. All grieving hearts are welcome, no matter the loss being grieved.
Our Art for the Grieving Heart events have proven to be of value to the guests who attend; this was a comment from one of our former guests:
"A welcoming event for those experiencing the pain and sorrow of loss, in a safe creative space where alternative healing can occur through art."
The event flows as follows:
6:15pm Doors open, sweet treats and warm beverages (included in ticket price) served
6:30pm Welcome and introductions
6:40pm Crafting begins
7:25pm (approx) Discussion begins
8:30pm Event draws to a close
Tickets are $20 per person plus service fees and include all crafting materials, sweet treats, coffee and tea.
Please note that EACH INDIVIDUAL GUEST must be registered with their first name, last name, email, and telephone number. You will be prompted to 'Add another guest' once you have registered the first guest.PLEASE also NOTE that this event is now held in our Park Memorial Reception Centre at 9709 - 111 Avenue.
